Song patiently taught me Chinese for a couple of years. I think she was much better as a teacher than I was as a student. Later we spent many social occasions together with both our families. There are lots of memories of eating Chinese food and karaoke singing. The Chinese ladies were a lot better at singing than the English husbands, but the food was consistently great and plentiful. I'm told there were always secret complaints among the three Chinese wives about the shortcomings of their respective husbands. Luckily none of the husbands understood that much of it!
We look back on these memories very happily, though it's hard to believe that those times have passed.
Best wishes to Lily and family and William in these difficult times.
Much Love John and Meixia, Philip and Thomas.

Dear William, Lily, Andre and Arthur,
All our memories of Aunty Song are filled with sounds of her laugh and her bright smile and personality. We are so glad her wish came true and she got to know the joy of her grandchild, Arthur. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at such a sad time. All our love, Anneka, Aoife and Matthew xox
